This article focuses on the applications and maintenance practices of Edwards IXH3030 / IXH3050 series dry roots vacuum pumps in five major scenarios: semiconductor, flat panel display, solar photovoltaic, vacuum metallurgy, and laboratory. It analyzes in detail which parts are most easily worn under each working condition (shaft seal, wave spring, filter, seal ring), how to select standard rotors vs. high-nickel rotors based on process gas characteristics, and provides typical fault codes and maintenance solutions for IXH3030 in key semiconductor processes such as PECVD, sputtering, ion implantation, and etching.
