This article focuses on the application and maintenance practice of Edwards IXH1820HTXS series dry roots vacuum pumps in five major scenarios: semiconductor wafer fabs (12-inch processes), FPD flat panel display, solar photovoltaic, vacuum metallurgy, and laboratory R&D. HTXS series is particularly suitable for Cl₂/HCl process environments due to its Ni ≥16% corrosion resistance. This article details which parts are most easily worn under each working condition (X2-Y4 rotors Cl₂ corrosion, FKM seal aging, LVHP/HVHP stator particle wear), how to select parts, and typical failures and solutions.
